In response to this recognition, Dr. C would like to share the following:

My hope for today: That we all remember that, even when it feels like we have only something small to give, our individual and collective small actions matter. As my mom always says, “Do what you can, with what you have, right now.”

I’m humbled and immensely grateful to JCPenney for selecting me as a “Women Making Change” award winner.

This national award was designed to honor five women who are raising the bar for better in their community and going above and beyond to make everybody count. It is also accompanied by a generous donation to Levántatech!
